Coverage

HRMesh Coverage Map

This map shows where HRMesh nodes have been heard across Hampton Roads. It is built from live node reports, community mapping, and wardriving data collected by volunteers.

Build the network

Want to help expand HRMesh coverage?

Hosting a repeater node is the fastest way to improve coverage in your neighborhood. Wardriving helps us find the gaps. New fixed nodes help fill them.

Wardriving

Help map real-world coverage

Wardriving means collecting HRMesh signal and node data while moving through the region. A phone, vehicle, bike, or even a walk through your neighborhood can help show where the mesh is reachable.

Each mapping run helps us understand where coverage is strong, where nodes are barely reachable, and where new repeaters would make the biggest difference.

Why it matters

The map only improves when people contribute

The embedded map is not a fixed prediction. It is a living picture of the network based on received signals, active nodes, and reported paths. If nobody maps an area, that area may look empty even if coverage exists.

More wardriving gives HRMesh better data for repeater placement, antenna planning, and community expansion.
